Good Afternoon Hummingbirds!!!

We are incredibly grateful for our amazing community! We have officially distributed our final 60 boxes of chocolates. The funds raised will directly support our upcoming school events and field trips, making these experiences possible for our students.

We also want to extend a sincere thank you to our families for your patience in the parking lot. Drop-off has become much smoother, and we ask for your continued cooperation as we keep improving. Ensuring our students arrive safely and on time remains our top priority!

There is a lot happening this month, so please be sure to read this entire update. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to reach out to our office staff for support.

Spring Photos on Friday!

All students will be taking their spring photo on Friday, purchase is not necessary. This photo will be used for their identification card for the 2026-2027 school year. If you would like to purchase photos, please return the envelope to your students teacher.

Cookie Grams for sale!

Our student leadership team is fundraising money for their club. You can order a cookie gram to be delivered to a student or staff member for valentines day. They are accepting orders until Friday February 6th. Cookie grams will be delivered to classrooms on Friday, February 13th just in time for Valentines day. Don't miss out on this fun event. Limited amount of cookies for sale so get yours before they sell out!

Transitional Kinder and Kindergarten Registration

Registration for the 2026-2027 school year starts tomorrow, February 2, 2026. Please click the link below to begin your registration.

Yearbooks are on Sale now!

Year books are now on sale! Return your completed envelope to pre-order your yearbook. Take advantage of our early bird $26 sale. Prices will increase after Feb 20.

Safety & Wellness

The safety and well being of our Santa Rita Community is our highest priority!

Parking Lot Safety

To keep our students safe and traffic moving smoothly during the morning rush, please follow these drop off guidelines:

Stay in Your Vehicle: In the drop-off lane, parents should remain in the car at all times to keep the line moving.
Pull All the Way Forward: Please drive as far forward toward the flagpole as possible before stopping.
Unload Anywhere: Students may unload anywhere along the designated drop-off lane; there is no need to wait until you reach the front of the line.
No Passing: For the safety of children exiting vehicles, please stay in a single file line and do not pass other cars.
Follow Staff Directions: Please be respectful and follow the instructions of our parking lot supervision staff; their primary goal is to keep our children safe and the traffic flowing efficiently.

Hummingbird Highlights of the Week

Shout-Out to Our Spelling Bee Team!

We want to recognize the amazing team that supported our students’ participation in the Scripps Spelling Bee competition!

A special thank you goes to Ms. Kliewer for organizing the entire event. We also want to thank our teachers and parents who practiced tirelessly with their students, as well as our judges, paraprofessionals, and the many staff members who helped make sure everything ran smoothly on the day of the bee.

We are so incredibly proud of all our contestants for their hard work and courage!
