Santa Rita Elementary Weekly Newsletter

Week of April 20-25, 2026

Happy Sunday, Hummingbird Families!

We have officially completed our first full week of state testing, and our hearts are full of pride for our school community!

🌟 We want to send a heartfelt thank you to our incredible students, our hardworking staff, and all of our families. To the students who gave their best effort on every question, to the teachers who have prepared them all year, our Tk-2 students and staff who cheered them on, and to the parents who ensured our scholars arrived well-rested and ready—thank you. It takes a village to support our students during testing season, and seeing everyone cheer them on has been truly inspiring. We are so proud of the grit and focus our Hummingbirds have shown!

🎈 Day of the Child: Planning Meeting #2
We are moving full steam ahead with our Day of the Child preparations! Our first meeting was full of great ideas, and we are ready for round two this Wednesday, April 22nd @ 1:30 PM.

Please join us to help finalize the details for this special celebration. Your voice is what makes our school events so successful!
