Happy Sunday, Hummingbird Families!

We have some wonderful news to celebrate: our 3rd-5th grade scholars have officially completed their state testing! We are incredibly proud of their hard work, and we want to extend a massive thank you to the village of staff and families who supported them through every session. Your encouragement truly made a difference.

This is going to be a big week for our Hummingbirds! Please be sure to scroll down to the bottom of this newsletter for all the details regarding our very first Career Day this Wednesday and our exciting Día del Niño celebration on Friday.

Gavilan View Middle School is hosting a Mattress Fundraiser in their gym today from 10am-4pm. Please stop by GVMS to support their music program.

🗓️ Important Upcoming Dates/Deadlines:

Summer Academy: Registration is still open! If you plan for your student to attend, please sign up by April 30th.
2026-2027 Registration: It’s already time to look ahead! Please ensure you have registered your TK/K student for the upcoming school year so we can plan for their spot in a classroom.
5th Grade Promotion: This is scheduled for Thursday Ma 28 at 8:30AM in the cafeteria. Flyers going home soon.

Day of the Child Donations & Parent Volunteers

Please ensure all donations are delivered to the front office no later than Wednesday, April 29th.

If you are available to volunteer for our activity stations, please contact the office or reply to this message.

Please note: Per school protocol, all volunteers must be unaccompanied by younger children or siblings while on campus.

We are thrilled to host our very first Career Day at Santa Rita Elementary! With over 20 volunteers joining us, our TK-5th grade students will have the unique opportunity to explore a wide variety of professions. To celebrate, we encourage all students to come dressed in professional attire or as the career they dream of having when they grow up!
