Happy Sunday, Hummingbird Families!

Welcome to the last full week of school! It is hard to believe that the end of the school year is already here. We look forward to wrapping up this final stretch smoothly while celebrating all our students and staff for their amazing successes and hard work throughout this school year.

🥳 School Spirit Days & Staff Appreciations

We are kicking off the fun this Monday with our School Spirit Days! To start things off, Monday is "Hats Off to Staff" day—so grab your favorite hat to show our educators some love! The Administration team will be celebrating all our staff members throughout the week for their incredible hard work and dedication. Please be sure to scroll below for full details on each day's spirit theme!

🎶 Spring Concert & 🐝 Spelling Bee

It is going to be an exciting week for our upper grades:

3rd–5th Grade Spring Concert: Join us this Tuesday to hear our talented 3rd, 4th, and 5th-grade students perform!
4th & 5th Grade Spelling Bee: Also happening this week, our top 20 classrooms finalists will face off in our final Spelling Bee competition. Best of luck to our word masters!

💻 Chromebook & Charger Collection: Thursday, May 21st & Friday May 22nd

On Thursday, we will be collecting all student Chromebook devices and their chargers. Please make sure your student brings both the laptop and the charger cord to school on Thursday morning so we can check them back into our inventory.

🗓️ Looking Ahead to the Final Week

As a quick reminder for your calendar, next week (the final partial week of school) will look a bit different:

Monday, May 25th: No School (Memorial Day Holiday)
Tuesday, May 26th – Thursday, May 28th: Minimum Days for all students.

🚗 A Gentle Reminder: Parking Lot Safety & Patience

As we head into these busy final weeks of school, we want to kindly ask for your continued patience and cooperation during morning drop-off and afternoon dismissal.

To ensure the safety of every Hummingbird, please remember that passing other cars in the loading zone is not permitted. While it may feel tempting to bypass the queue, maintaining one single line is essential for student safety. When we all follow the same flow, the process actually becomes smoother, safer, and quicker for everyone.

Thank you for being mindful of our students’ safety and for treating our staff and fellow parents with kindness as we work together to keep our parking lot secure!

Last Week of School. Finishing Strong!!

Fifth Grade Promotion

Our 5th-grade promotion is on Thursday, May 28th, at 8:30 AM. Doors open at 8:15 AM.

Please note: For the safety and visibility of all guests, balloons are not permitted inside the ceremony. However, we will have a special photo area designated for families and students to capture memories after the event!

If you have any questions, please contact the 5th-grade teachers or the main office. See you there!

Additional summer Program Opportunities
